Howard County Conservancy
February 2014
This print is from an alternative process technique that I have been developing over the past 8 years. It involes altering the traditional chemicals that are utilized for processing film. As a photographer, I consider myself to be very technical and by the book. This process forces me out of my comfort zone. By nature, film is a long term commitment. You cannot see your images right away. This process is an even longer commitment. It takes about 1 month to see my negatives from the time that I shot them. The

effects tend to be random, but I am exploring various factors that go in to controlling the outcome.
This particular photograph is of the Howard County Conservancy in Maryland. I have a solo show coming up there (june 17th - july 15th) and was asked to include pictures of the grounds.
